The Atrium at Sofitel Melbourne on Collins is a sophisticated bar space high above the city beneath a dramatic fifteen-storey mirrored canopy.

Perched on level 35 of one of Melbourne’s premier luxury hotels, the project required meticulous coordination to ensure guest experience and hotel operations were uninterrupted throughout the works.

With hotel guests and staff moving throughout the building every day, access, staging and work sequencing were carefully planned to minimise disruption. Operating in such a live environment demanded strict dust and contamination control: we implemented enclosed work zones, negative-pressure filtration, daily cleaning regimes and protective barriers to adjacent hotel spaces to preserve air quality and maintain the pristine finish guests expect in a five-star setting.

The Atrium fit-out also required precision craftsmanship in custom elements and finishes to match the venue’s refined character. Strong collaboration with the client, designers and hotel management ensured we delivered a high-calibre hospitality space that met stringent standards for quality and guest comfort. All completed seamlessly alongside ongoing hotel activity.
