As one of Melbourne’s most respected Italian dining institutions, Il Bacaro required high quality execution and faultless planning for this CBD hospitality fit-out.

Located on Little Collins Street, the site presented the challenges typical of a busy city environment, including restricted access, limited storage, and constant pedestrian and neighbouring business activity.

Working to a tight construction programme, careful planning and sequencing were essential. Deliveries and trade access were precisely timed, with works carried out efficiently to minimise disruption while maintaining a safe and compliant site at all times. Close collaboration with the client, designers and subcontractors allowed the project to maintain momentum and respond quickly to the demands of a live CBD setting.

The fit-out required a high level of craftsmanship, incorporating custom joinery, quality finishes and considered lighting to reflect Il Bacaro’s Venetian-inspired character. The result is a polished, functional hospitality space delivered on time and to a high standard, supporting both service efficiency and an exceptional dining experience.
