Easton Colab Office Manager

Easton is a privately owned Australian Construction Company.  Operating across the High-End Residential, Retail and Commercial space with bespoke projects ranging in value from $1 - $30M. With a proud history of achievement, including working on iconic projects such as Tiffany & Co, Hermes, Giorgio Armani, Emporio Armani and Bondi Icebergs. Easton won the prestigious Master Builders of the Year title in 2021 for a Residential home in Toorak.

Easton Colab is a newly created boutique co-working space comprising of ten desks, two meeting rooms, a large boardroom, off-street carpark and shared kitchen and lounge which doubles as an operable function space. Your new working office is ideally located in Kew East with cafes and parks close by and a short distance from the CBD for meetings with easy access to the Eastern Freeway for travel.

The role of Office Manager for Easton Colab is a key contributor to the culture of our new coworking space and our overarching ‘Easton’ brand name.

Tasks of office Manager include:

·         Manage the brand of Easton CoLab

·         Actively promote the space

·         Actively recruit the right types of professional individuals we want in the space

·         Office Tours

·         Manage Member Contracts

·         Assist with new user onboarding (i.e. App download, entry, desk setup etc)

·         Create a ‘welcome pack’ for new co-workers

·         Stay across the revenue and expenses of Easton Colab– member subscriptions, administer ad-hoc bookings, stay across office running costs and outgoings

·         Keep office neat & tidy and well maintained. Organise cleaners, gardener, keep supplies stocked

·         Be the face of Easton Colab – available to meet & greet new visitors and assist with special bookings (i.e. for use as a function space) organise incoming mail, assist Colab members to get the best out of the space

·         Set the tone for a good office culture: Timely reminders about noisy guests interrupting others work, location of hot desks, reminders about keeping space neat or proper security procedures, ensuring a positive and upbeat working space

Additional work for Easton.

Where time allows and other Colab duties have been fulfilled there are opportunities for the Office Manger to assist with Easton tasks

·         Provide Marketing Assistance to the Marketing Manager and Marketing Coordinator

·         Meet & Greet Easton clients, offer coffees etc

·         Answering phones

·         Assist with supplies maintenance, uniform orders etc

·         On the ground IT / Office support

·         PA duties for the Directors

Work Environment

We are recruiting for an Office Manager in a Permanent Part Time position one day per week. This could also be completed across two half days at our office location 559 High Street Kew East.

This would be the perfect role for a marketing undergraduate, and we are willing to be flexible with your current study arrangements. Due to the part time nature of this role, you are required to bring your own (BYO) computer to work, and we will equip you with the software needed to complete your job.
