Delatite Winery Cellar Door
Easton delivered the Delatite Winery Cellar Door and Dining Room, a sustainable and finely crafted project set against the backdrop of Victoria’s High Country.
Located on land owned by the Ritchie family for three generations, the new building replaces a modest 1980s cellar with a modern, multifunctional space that reflects Delatite’s commitment to biodynamic winemaking.
The design features a series of pavilions with generous decks and terraces framing sweeping views of Mt Buller and the surrounding Taungurung Country. Built using sustainable materials like Timbercrete-cured on-site over several months-the project also incorporates solar power, off grid-waste systems, and low-toxicity finishes. Easton’s hands-on, on-site approach throughout the nine-month build allowed for continual refinement, ensuring a result that is both practical and beautifully integrated with the landscape.
